THIS PRINT IS SOLD OUT ONLINE, BUT GET IN TOUCH TO FIND OUT IF IT IS AVAILABLE FROM ONE OF MY STOCKISTS.

Spotted pardalotes (Pardalotus punctatus) are some of Australia’s smallest birds. They are typically found foraging high in eucalypt canopies, and build their nests underground in creek banks and shaded slopes. This courting pair is shown amongst small-leaved clematis (Clematis leptophylla) and happy wanderer (Hardenbergia violacea). The bird blocks are adapted from two photographs taken by John Martin (@birdbirdington) in the Canberra region.

This is a limited edition print (series of 15) created with layered hand-printed and hand-coloured linoprints and solar plate etchings.

The artwork was awarded first prize in printmaking at the Artists’ Society of Canberra Spring Exhibition, 2020.

21 x 29.7 cm print (paper size: 27 x 39 cm), on 300 gsm Hahnemühle paper, unframed. The edition number you see here is not necessarily the artwork available.
